Block Printing and Botanical Ink Workshop

Children’s book author and illustrator Katie Terrell Ramos guides you through making your own hand-carved block print, inspired by the lavender field and flower-garden plants. Laurie Hall, from Bluebird Dye Gardens explains the process of creating your own botanical ink from flowers in the garden. You’ll use printing ink made from flower pigment and end up with a set of mixed cards to take home – one from each participant’s block illustration! Within a week after purchasing your spot in the workshop you'll receive an email from Katie with the address and directions to the workshop location, and any other info you might need.
-Learn how to make a hand-carved rubber stamp
-Learn how to make your own botanical ink
-Take home your own botanical stamp and a set of handmade cards!
