EGBDF THE MUSICAL YAK

“EGBDF The Musical Yak” is Katie’s creative take on teaching children the lines of the treble clef staff. Through the adventures of EGBDF, a musical yak, young readers are introduced to the world of music in a fun and memorable way. This book is perfect for budding musicians and educators looking for an engaging way to teach the lines on the treble clef staff.

When she was younger, Katie struggled to truly enjoy her musical experience because of the difficulty she had learning and memorizing the notes on the musical staff. Because of this struggle, she is on a mission to help every new musician take on this concept with ease and fun! EGBDF, FACE and Katie are taking the musical world by storm to help kiddos and students everywhere!

While teaching at Altitude Elementary School, Katie realized how important EGBDF’s story was to musicians everywhere. When she discovered her passion for block printing, she knew exactly how EGBDF would come alive. Today, Katie resides in Durango, Colorado with her incredibly supportive best friend  and husband,Travis. When not writing or illustrating, she can be found hiking, mountain biking, skiing, or smelling the flowers at their family’s lavender farm.
